Ally Andre graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. As a college student, she discovered her love for working with children while volunteering with the fantastic therapists at Therapy at Play. She then attended California State University, Sacramento, where she earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. While in physical therapy school, Ally completed a year of instruction in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program at the UC Davis Mind Institute, where she received interdisciplinary training on best practices for supporting and improving the health, developmental, and behavioral outcomes of children with Autism, ADHD, and related disabilities. She also volunteered in the BikeFit program at Shriners Children’s Hospital, where she assisted with fitting adaptive bikes for children with disabilities, and at Easter Seals Disability Services, where she facilitated treadmill-based clinics for two- and three-year-old children who were not yet walking. She has experience working with children of all ages in a variety of settings, including early intervention, schools, and intensive clinical settings. Ally has also worked with children with a variety of diagnoses, including Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Spina Bifida, and various other orthopedic and neurological conditions. Ally loves working in a pediatric setting because she is constantly inspired by both the resilience of her patients and their families and the tremendous impact that purposeful play can have on a child’s ability to participate in their daily routines and community.

In her free time, Ally enjoys reading, crafting, taking walks, and spending time with her friends and family.
