Cameryn Long, CCC-SLP, completed her undergraduate studies at Sacramento State University,
where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
She then decided to experience the East Coast and moved to Maine, where she obtained her
Master of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Maine,
Orono.
Cameryn’s practicum experiences in graduate school included working in acute care,
elementary schools, as well as private practice settings. She attained skills working with infants,
preschoolers, and school-aged children, addressing the areas of receptive and expressive
language, speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, swallowing, fluency, social and
pragmatic language, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Cameryn gained
additional training in PEERS® for young adults with autism spectrum disorder and other social
challenges.
Cameryn is eager to help individuals improve their functional communication skills by using
evidence-based and culturally sensitive therapy. Additionally, she strives to advocate for those
with communication disorders and their families. In her spare time, Cameryn enjoys hanging out
with her Old English Sheepdog, Cooper, cheering on her favorite Bay Area sports teams, and
spending time with her family and friends.
