Courtney Markovich is a neuro-affirming certified and licensed occupational therapist. Courtney graduated from California State University of East Bay with a degree in Liberal Studies and completed her graduate work at Samuel Merritt College University with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. Pediatrics has always been her passion. Her pediatric experience includes the NICU, inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, school-based services and private practice work. Courtney has worked with newborns to young adults with diagnoses including, but not limited to, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing difficulties, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, ADHD/ADD, anxiety, global developmental delays, neuromuscular abnormalities, and chromosomal abnormalities.
Courtney is a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS). She also has advanced specialized training in feeding therapy (utilizing the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach, Tube Feeding Weaning and Baby Led Weaning), sensory integration, vision, NDT Infant Handling and is certified in Therapeutic Listening, Handwriting Without Tears and DIR Floortime.
Courtney enjoys spending quality time outdoors with her husband, three children and their golden retriever, Charlie.
