Jannae Torres received her Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders at California State University, Fresno. She then pursued and earned a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University, Monterey Bay. Jannae has completed five clinical internships, gaining experience with diverse populations ranging from preschoolers to adults. Her clinical experience includes assessing and treating individuals with expressive and receptive language disorders, speech sound disorders, Autism, Apraxia of Speech, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and social communication disorders. Jannae is dedicated and eager to work closely with children and their families, delivering fun, individualized, and neurodiversity-affirming therapy that address each child’s unique needs. In addition to her internships, she has worked as a Speech-Language aide at multiple elementary schools and volunteered at the Veterans
Affairs Speech Language and Audiology Department.
In her free time, Jannae enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, visiting farmers’ markets, running, and swimming.
