Jeannette Kirrane graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science. From there, she received a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. Through high school and college, she was very involved with children with special needs and volunteered through school programs as well as the Special Olympics. In her last clinical rotation during physical therapy school, she realized her love for working with children continued while experiencing therapy in different settings including the pediatric clinic, school, and home-based therapy. Since attaining her degree in Physical Therapy, she has treated children of all ages in various settings including early intervention, outpatient pediatric clinics as well as school-based physical therapy. She is a certified Theratogs fitter. Jeannette has worked with children with a variety of disabilities including but not limited to the following: Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, Torticollis, developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as different muscular and neurological conditions. She enjoys working with families and collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance each child’s abilities. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and her black lab, Dakota. She also enjoys soccer, traveling, and photography.
