Julia Robson received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Sonoma State University. She worked as a social skills aide for group therapy in a private practice for two years before pursuing her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Pacific University. During her graduate studies, she gained experience in private clinics, in- and outpatient clinical settings, as well as public schools in the Portland metro area. Prior to joining Therapy at Play, Julia worked at a Speech-Language Pathologist at a private practice in the east bay area where she assessed and treated children with a variety of developmental disorders.
Julia has a passion for treating clients with Childhood Apraxia of Speech and affording children of all developmental stages the ability to communicate functionally to improve their autonomy and quality of life.
In her free time, Julia is a houseplant hobbyist, enjoys adventuring with her two dogs, and spending time with friends and family.
