Lauren Secondine completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, and she earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from San José State University. She completed her clinical internships with Therapy at Play and San Leandro Unified School District (San Leandro High School and James Monroe Elementary School).
Lauren has clinical experience with children, teenagers, and adults addressing the areas of receptive and expressive language, articulation and phonology, social and pragmatic language, motor speech, aphasia, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Prior to becoming a speech-language pathologist, she worked in private tutoring, customizing 1-on-1 academic and executive functioning support programs for diverse learners of all ages and managing learning centers in Wellesley, MA and San Francisco, CA. Lauren is passionate about helping others find and celebrate their unique voices through child-led therapy.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys singing in choir, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
